The fifth studio album from Absturtz. “Alles bleibt anders” sums it up perfectly for us in 2020. The reins remain in the band’s usual hands, but are enriched by new rhythms that will certainly broaden our horizons. With the upcoming release, we are putting all our eggs in one basket and continuing on our path consistently and straight ahead. Both the songwriting and the production are a step forward for us as a band.
“Alles bleibt anders” has become a very emotional and personal album.
This runs like a thread from the intro to the acoustic, final song. Political songs like “Alles verloren”, “Menschlichkeit”, “Feuer” or “Im Herzen links” express our bewilderment and clear position, “Euer Leid” and “Krake” examine the treatment of animals and nature. Themes such as friendship, solidarity and loss are just as important to us in “Auf die Freundschaft”, “15 Jahre” and “Du fehlst”, for example, and support the predominantly personal character of the album. With “Wir drehen durch” and “Willkommen im Wochenende”, there’s another song for the party crowd.
For us, “Alles bleibt anders” is a mature and successful further development and we hope that it will continue to be heard.
