Description
After two albums (“On The Edge of Giving In” – 2021, “Echoes” – 2015) and the EP “Control” (2017), Hunted Like Thieves return with their new album “Overflow”, which will be released in fall 2025. The band sees “Overflow” as their most musically elaborate work to date and as the essence of their sound.
The album title reflects both the musical and lyrical content. The texts address emotional states of modern life realities: Excessive demands in an increasingly complex, often stressful world and the tensions of a multi-option society that suggests limitless possibilities, but risks the loss of one’s own self. At the same time, “Overflow” stands for what music can convey: Enthusiasm, intense emotions, but also sadness, melancholy and despair. The songs bundle these opposites as a cathartic expression – direct, unfiltered and consciously emotional.
